Create content

Library: content and media

The Library holds everything your workspace produces and uses: articles, social posts, e-mails, documents and media files. Content and media share one set of folders, the agents file campaign materials for you, and every item opens in its own editor.

Content and Media on one screen

Open Library in the sidebar. At the top, the Content | Media switch moves between the texts of the workspace and its files. The folder you have open stays open when you switch.

The Library in the Content section with the folder strip, the type filter and cards of articles, posts and an e-mail
Content: every text of the workspace, with its folder, campaign and status.
  • Grid or list: the two buttons next to Add switch the view. The Library remembers your choice.
  • Type filter: chips such as Post, Blog, Document or Email show one kind of text, each with its count.
  • Search and order: Search documents looks through titles and text. Sort orders by Recently changed, Name, Type or Status.
  • Statuses: each card shows where the text is, for example Draft, Awaiting approval, Scheduled, Published or Generating while an agent is still writing it.
  • Add opens a menu: Article opens the SEO editor for a new article, Document opens an empty document, and Instagram post, Facebook post and LinkedIn post open an empty post editor for that network. With a folder open, the new document or post lands in it.

Shared with you

Documents another person shared with you appear in the same list with Shared by and their name. You open them with the access they gave you. They stay in their owner’s folders, so you cannot move or delete them. How sharing works is described in Team collaboration.

Folders

Folders belong to the workspace and are the same in Content and Media: a campaign folder holds both its posts and its images. Folders have one level, and each item is in one folder or under No folder. The folder strip shows All, every folder with the count of the section you are in, No folder and New folder.

Move items to a folder

  1. Select the items

Hover a card and tick its box. Once one item is selected, every card shows its box. A bar at the bottom counts the selection.

Two selected cards in the Library and the bar with Clear, Move to folder and Delete
The selection bar: Move to folder or Delete for several items at once.
  2. Choose Move to folder

Click Move to folder in the bar. For one item you can also open its options menu on the card and choose Move to folder.

  3. Pick the folder

Choose a folder, or No folder to take the items out of any folder, and click Move. New folder… creates a folder and moves the items in one go with Create and move.

The Move to folder dialog with the workspace folders, No folder and New folder
Each item is in one folder or under No folder.

Create, rename and delete folders

  • New folder at the end of the strip asks for a name of up to 80 characters. Two folders cannot have the same name.
  • Open a folder to see Rename and Delete folder next to its name.
  • Deleting a folder deletes no files or texts: they move to No folder.
  • A workspace can have up to 100 folders.

Folders Semurai creates

  • Brand holds the logos and reference files of your Brand Kit.
  • A campaign folder named after the campaign (for example Kampania: Ember Roast launch) collects the images and texts of that campaign.
  • Materiały Studio collects the working images Creative Studio makes for your designs, such as cutouts, scenes and graphics. Its files do not show under All.

You can rename and delete these folders like any other.

Open an item

A click on a card opens the item in its editor:

  • an article in the SEO editor,
  • a Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or X post in the post editor (see Publish and schedule social posts),
  • an e-mail or newsletter in the e-mail editor, with the subject, the preheader and the body. Semurai does not send e-mails: copy the text into your own e-mail tool, or add the e-mail to the calendar with a planned date,
  • every other text, such as a document, a product description or meta tags, in the document editor described below.

The options menu of a card also has Delete. Deleting removes the text together with its scheduled publications and cannot be undone.

The document editor

The document editor with the parts of the document as tabs and the buttons Discuss in chat, Comments, Export, Version history and Save changes
Documents open as pages: the parts are tabs, the text is edited in place.
  • Longer documents are split into parts, shown as tabs under the title. Save your changes before you switch to another part.
  • Type / or click Insert block for headings, lists, tables, to-do lists, toggles, callouts, images from the media library and more.
  • Save changes saves the text to the workspace. The line above the buttons says whether everything is saved.
  • Discuss in chat opens a chat about the document, Comments shows the comment threads and Version history restores an earlier version of a part.

Ask AI in a document

  1. Select the text

Select a passage. In the toolbar above it, click Ask AI. You can also use Ask AI from the block menu or the / menu.

  2. Pick a quick action or write your own

Tenko, the agent who writes documents, offers Improve writing, Make shorter, Make longer, Fix spelling and grammar, Translate to… and Continue writing. Or type what you want in the box.

Ask AI under a selected paragraph with the quick actions Improve writing, Make shorter, Make longer, Fix spelling and grammar, Translate to and Continue writing
Ask AI on a selection: quick actions for the passage.
  3. Check the result

Tenko edits the text in place. Review the change, undo it if you prefer the old version, then save the document.

With the cursor in an empty line and nothing selected, the quick actions are Continue writing, Summarize above, Make a list and Suggest ideas.

Export to Markdown or Word

Export saves the open part (This section) or the Whole document as Markdown (.md) or Word (.docx).

Export a part or the whole document.

Media

The Media section holds the images, files and AI graphics you use in your content and campaigns. The line next to the switch counts all files, images, files from AI and files from Canvas.

The Media section with Upload files, Generate with AI, the folder strip and a grid of images, one of them still being generated
Media: uploads, AI images and Canvas exports in the same folders as your texts.

Upload files

  • Click Upload files or drag files onto the page. Opened in a folder, the files go into that folder.
  • Each file can have up to 50 MB.
  • Images: PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and AVIF. Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, TXT, CSV and MD. Video: MP4, WebM and MOV.
  • Images that Semurai generates in the chat land in the Library too.

Generate an image with AI

Generate with AI opens a chat with a request for an image for your next marketing or SEO piece. Describe what you need. While the image is being made, its tile shows Generating the image with the progress. The button needs the right to run agents.

Find a file

  • The tabs All, Images, Files, Documents, Videos and Other filter by type.
  • The source filter shows files from AI, Uploaded, Canvas, External or Stock.
  • Search the library looks through titles, descriptions and tags.

File details

Click a file to see its format, dimensions, size, source, folder and date. Under Description and tags you can edit:

  • Description: what the image shows. AI uses it to find matching photos and as the alt text.
  • Title and Tags (up to 20 per file).
The details of an image with its format, size, source and folder, the description, title and tags, and the buttons Use in chat, Open, Copy link, Move to folder and Delete
A file’s details: the description is also its alt text.

Use in chat asks Semurai where the file fits in your next piece and for its alt text. Copy link, Move to folder and Delete are there too. Content that already uses a deleted file may lose the image.

The Materiały Studio folder

When Creative Studio designs for you, it saves its cutouts, scenes and graphics to Materiały Studio. Open the folder to reuse them. They are left out of All, so they do not crowd your own files.
