Publish and schedule social posts
Somi prepares posts in your brand’s voice. You connect your accounts once, review each post, and publish it right away or schedule it for later. Nothing goes out without your approval.

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Integrations and go to Social channels.

Create a post
Social posts are documents, so you find them in your Library. Semurai creates them for you: ask for posts in the chat, let a campaign prepare them, or click New post in the calendar to start a chat about one. In the post editor you can:
- Generate with AI: describe what to write about, pick the tone of voice and the language, and choose Generate post.
- Work with the AI assistant: ask for changes; you approve each change before it goes in.
- Preview the post as it will look on the network, and keep alternatives with New version.
- Rely on autosave: changes are saved as you go.
Images
Under Add image, choose From computer (images up to 8 MB), From the media library, Generate with AI or New graphic in Canvas. Canvas opens with sizes for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and Use in post brings the graphic back into the post. A post can have up to 10 images.
Publish or schedule
Check the post
The editor shows the post’s status: Draft, To review, Approved, Scheduled, Published or Publishing failed. Fix anything it flags, such as an Instagram post without an image or text over the network’s limit.
Publish now
Choose Post now and confirm. The post goes out right away on the selected account.
Or schedule it
Set the Publication date and choose Schedule post. The post then shows Scheduled for that date. You can Change the date, or Cancel scheduling to turn it back into a draft.

Plan in the calendar
- Open Tools → Calendar. Switch between 5 days, Week, Month and List, and filter by channel and status.
- Drag a post to another day or time to reschedule it; a scheduled post then goes out at the new time. Published posts can’t be moved.
- Times use your browser’s time zone.
- Needs attention gathers overdue items, failed publications and posts to review.
If a post fails
Temporary problems, such as a network that is briefly unavailable, are retried automatically. If a post still fails, its card shows the reason and you get a notification in the app. Choose Try again: if the planned time has passed, the post goes out right away. When it is unclear whether a post was published, Semurai asks you to check the network first, so nothing is posted twice.
