A real editor, not a template filler.
Canvas is a full editor inside Semurai — layers, precise properties, multi-page designs and AI that edits what you select. It knows your brand, and everything you export goes back into the workflow.
- Layers, guides, snapping and pixel-level properties
- One design resizes into every channel format
- Exports land in the media library and your posts
Describe it once. Edit everything after.
Semurai Assist generates a real, editable Canvas document — not a flat image. Pick a starter, generate variants, keep the one that works and change anything you want.
When the layout is nearly right, you need real controls.
Most AI design tools stop at the render. Canvas gives you the boring, essential parts — numeric position, alignment, distribution, z-order, shadows and per-layer AI — so a good design can become the right one.
- Exact width, height, X, Y, rotation and opacity
- Align to page, distribute spacing, match size, group and lock
- AI actions scoped to the selected layer, not the whole design
Your brand is already in the editor.
Canvas reads the brand kit from the project you are working in, so colours, typography and logos are one click away instead of one more upload — and a resize never turns into a rebrand.
- Palette applied to any selected layer in one click
- Heading and body families set from the brand kit
- Original, dark and light logo variants ready to place
The design does not end in a downloads folder.
Canvas exports carry their source document, page and format with them, so an asset stays connected to the campaign it belongs to.
Best-quality PNG or a smaller JPEG, at 1x, 2x or 3x for retina and ad placements.
Assets land in the shared library, tagged and searchable, ready for any later post.
Design from a social post and the export replaces the image in that post when you finish.
Multi-page designs export as a full set, so a carousel stays a carousel.
Media Library keeps a Canvas source on every asset, so you can reopen and edit an old creative instead of rebuilding it.
Idea to on-brand asset.
- 01 Pick a format
Start from a channel preset or a template, or paste a size of your own.
- 02 Generate or build
Describe the design and pick a variant, or build it yourself from elements and text.
- 03 Refine it properly
Adjust layers, alignment and type, and use AI on just the part that needs it.
- 04 Export and use it
Send it to the media library, a scheduled post or straight down as a file.
Common questions
Is Canvas a real editor or an AI image generator?
A real editor. Designs are made of editable layers — text, shapes, images and groups — with numeric properties, alignment tools, guides and z-order. AI is one way to start or change a design, not the only way to touch it.
What can the AI actually do?
It can generate a whole editable design from a prompt, produce several scored variants to choose from, and act on a single selected layer: edit with a described change, remove a background, reimagine an image or enhance it. Text layers can also be made longer, shorter or simply better.
Can one design work across channels?
Yes. Canvas ships channel presets for square, post, story, reels, Facebook and LinkedIn ads, wide banners, presentations and A4, plus custom sizes. When you resize, content can scale with the canvas rather than being left behind.
How does it stay on brand?
Canvas reads the brand kit of the project you are in — palette, heading and body fonts, and logo variants — and applies them to the selected layer on click. Brand context also feeds the AI, so generated designs start closer to your identity.
Where do finished designs go?
Download as PNG or JPEG at 1x, 2x or 3x, save to the Media Library where the asset stays reusable and re-editable, or send it back into the social post you started from. Multi-page designs can export every page at once.
Do I need design skills?
No, but they are not wasted either. You can generate a design and keep the best variant, or open the layer list and control every property yourself. The tool does not force either approach.
Design it once. Use it everywhere.
Open Canvas, describe the creative you need, and edit the result like a designer would — with your brand already loaded.
