The definition

What is an AI marketing agent?

An AI marketing agent is software that takes a marketing goal, plans the steps and carries them out across your tools. It researches keywords, writes content, drafts social posts or designs graphics, checks the result and decides what to do next. Unlike a chatbot, it does not wait for a new prompt at every step.

Marketers call this way of working agentic marketing: you set the outcome, the agents do the steps. The good ones also know where to stop. In Semurai, eight agents share one brand and one project, and anything that would go live on your site, your store or a connected channel waits for a person’s click. For search, the same team works as an AI SEO agent, and for articles, posts and graphics as an AI content creation platform.

What they do

What AI marketing agents do
in Semurai.

AI marketing agents in Semurai cover six areas of everyday marketing work. Each agent works in a tool you can open yourself, so you can check or take over any piece at any moment.

  • SEO

Keyres weighs volume, difficulty and intent and groups keywords into topic clusters. Hime audits your site and ranks the fixes, and Rankmaru checks your Google positions every day on paid plans. Example task: “Find the coffee keywords we can win this quarter and track the best ten.”

    Keyword research
  • Content

Tenko writes outlines and articles in the SEO editor, and product descriptions for your store, with a Content Score, internal link suggestions and FAQ from People Also Ask. You can approve or edit the outline first. Example task: “Write a buying guide to cold brew at home.”

    SEO editor
  • Social media

Somi drafts posts and campaigns for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn and proposes dates for them in your content calendar. For X, Somi prepares drafts. Example task: “Turn this article into a week of posts.”

    Content calendar
  • Design and brand

Dezaina keeps your Brand Kit and turns content into graphics, carousels, ads, presentations and short videos, in nine formats. Export to PNG, JPEG, PDF, MP4 or GIF. Example task: “Design a six-slide carousel for the launch.”

    Canvas
  • E-commerce

Tenko proposes product and category copy for Shoper, WooCommerce and PrestaShop, and you can add product cards from your store to any article in the SEO editor. Your store changes only after you approve. Example task: “Write SEO descriptions for the products that have none.”

    AI for ecommerce
  • Analytics and competitors

Spynobi compares you with up to four competitors, finds the keyword gap and reads your Google Search Console data. Example task: “Where are competitors outranking us, and why?”

    Competitor analysis

Every post opens in the post editor

Somi’s posts land in your Library, where you edit the text, swap the media, add a version and check the preview. A post stays a draft, with no date, until you schedule it.

The post editor in the Library: the LinkedIn post “Ember Roast launch: LinkedIn” with the status Draft and the publication “Not scheduled”, the post text, the launch graphic and a LinkedIn preview.
Demo project: Morrowfield Coffee Co. (demo data). A LinkedIn post for the Ember Roast launch in the post editor: a draft, not scheduled.

Meet the team

An example

From one goal
to published work.

Here is a product launch, start to finish. Semur runs up to three specialists at once, so research, writing and design overlap instead of queueing.

  1. 01

    You give Semur a goal

“Launch our new Ember Roast blend next week: an article, graphics and posts.” Semur turns it into a plan with steps and owners, and for bigger work you see the plan before anything starts.

  2. 02

    Keyres finds the keywords

Keyres checks demand, difficulty and intent and picks the keywords the launch article should target.

  3. 03

    Tenko writes the article

Tenko drafts the outline, you can approve or edit it, and the article is written in the SEO editor with a Content Score against the pages already ranking.

  4. 04

    Somi drafts the posts

Somi turns the article into posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, each written for its channel.

  5. 05

    Dezaina designs the graphics

Dezaina designs the post graphics and a launch carousel from your Brand Kit: your colors, voice and audience.

  6. 06

    You approve one card

Everything that needs your decision arrives on one approval card. Choose which actions run, then approve or reject the card.

  7. 07

    Posts go to the calendar

Approved posts land on their dates in the content calendar. Publishing to a connected channel waits for your OK on each post, or you switch on autopublish for the campaign.

  2. Approve it, and Keyres starts with the keywords
  3. Tenko writes the article while Dezaina designs the graphic
  4. Somi writes 3 posts for Instagram and Facebook
  5. Scheduling the posts waits for your approval
  6. Each step shows its result: keywords, article, graphic, posts

Demo project: Morrowfield Coffee Co. (demo data). After you approve the plan, four specialists do their steps, and scheduling the posts waits for your OK.

After the run

When the specialists finish, Semur sums up the run in the chat: Tenko’s article, Dezaina’s graphic and Somi’s 3 posts, each one ready to open. Nothing goes out on its own: everything waits as a draft.

Semur’s summary of the finished Ember Roast launch: Tenko wrote the article, Dezaina designed the launch graphic, Somi wrote 3 posts and put them in the calendar for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the line “Everything waits as a draft until you publish it” and the three delivered results.
Demo project: Morrowfield Coffee Co. (demo data). The finished run: the graphic, the article and 3 posts, all saved as drafts.

You stay in control

They do the work.
You decide what goes live.

Specialists never publish, schedule a publication, send, delete or change your store on their own. They propose, and you decide.

  • One approval card

Semur collects the batch on one card, up to 20 actions, checked again on the server. Pick the actions that should run, change a content plan’s channels and counts, or reject the card and nothing happens.

  • Autopilot, only if you want it

Project autopilot is off by default. Switch it on and a short list of actions, such as article drafts, designs and calendar dates, approves itself after a veto window of 12 hours (you choose 2 to 72), within weekly limits. It never publishes.

  • Brand memory

Every agent works from your Brand Kit: voice, audience, visual style and strategy. Memory keeps what you ask it to keep and your lasting preferences, and you can delete any entry.

  • Autopublish is a switch

You decide per post, or switch on autopublish for a campaign, and only for that campaign. The agents never switch it on.

Semur’s plan for the Ember Roast launch in the chat: keyword research, the article, the launch graphic and 3 posts done, each with its result, and the decision “Can Semurai do this? Setting the calendar date”, which needs your approval.
Demo project: Morrowfield Coffee Co. (demo data). Each finished step shows its result. Setting the calendar date changes something outside the chat, so it waits for your approval.

Buyer’s guide

How to choose
AI marketing agents.

Choose AI marketing agents by how much they do on their own, where their work can go and who checks it. These six questions separate a real agent from a chatbot with a new name.

  • Autonomy vs control

Ask what the agent may do without you and what always waits for a person. In Semurai some drafts, such as outlines and designs, can run on their own, while publishing, store changes and deleting always wait for a click. The one exception: a campaign where you switch on autopublish yourself, for WordPress articles and posts to a connected channel.

  • Does it publish?

Some tools stop at a draft you copy and paste. Check whether approved work reaches your site, store and social channels. Semurai publishes articles to WordPress, Shoper and PrestaShop, and drafts and plans posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in your content calendar.

  • Channels and integrations

List the places your marketing lives and check each one. Semurai connects to WordPress (with WooCommerce), Shoper, PrestaShop and Google Search Console.

  • Data

An agent is only as good as what it reads. Look for real keyword, ranking and Search Console data, and a rule that the agent reports only what its tools returned.

  • Languages

If you sell abroad, check the languages of both the app and the content. Semurai works in 14 languages, including English, Polish, German, Spanish and French.

  • Price model

Credits, seats and per-agent fees add up differently. Semurai charges for capacity: every paid plan includes all eight agents, and plans differ in AI usage, tracked keywords, storage and team seats.

Here are three alternatives that may suit you better, described from their public product and pricing pages (checked October 2026).

  • HubSpot Breeze

Breeze agents (Customer, Prospecting, Data and a Content Agent, listed as beta on HubSpot’s pricing page) work inside HubSpot, next to your CRM data, and you control which actions run on their own. Agent Hub is available on Starter, Professional and Enterprise, and Marketing Hub has a free tier for up to 2 users.

FAQ

Questions about AI marketing agents.

How is an AI marketing agent different from a chatbot?

A chatbot answers one prompt at a time, while an AI marketing agent takes a marketing goal, plans the steps and carries them out across your tools, from keyword research to articles, posts and graphics. It checks the result and decides the next step, instead of waiting for a prompt each time. The best ones ask a person before anything goes live.

How much do AI marketing agents cost in Semurai?

Semurai has a Free plan with a monthly allowance for every agent. Paid plans start at $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly, and every paid plan includes all eight agents. Plans differ in AI usage capacity, seats, tracked keywords and storage, not in features.

Can AI do my marketing for me?

AI can do much of the work: research, writing, design, scheduling and reporting. It still needs your goals, your brand and your decisions. In Semurai the agents prepare the work and you decide what goes live.

How is an AI agent different from marketing automation?

Marketing automation follows rules you wrote, such as sending an e-mail when a form is filled in. An AI agent gets a goal, plans the steps itself and can use several tools along the way. Automation runs without asking, while a well-built agent stops for approval before it publishes.

What companies offer AI marketing agents?

HubSpot (Breeze), Salesforce (Agentforce for Marketing), Jasper and Relevance AI offer AI agents for marketing work, and Copy.ai and Lindy offer AI workflows and assistants that teams use for it. Semurai offers eight agents for SEO, content, social media and design. Features and prices change often, so check each vendor’s pricing page; we checked these in October 2026.

Do AI marketing agents publish without approval?

Some do, so check before you connect your channels. In Semurai, publishing to your site, your store or a connected channel, scheduling a publication, store changes and deleting always wait for a person’s click. The one exception is campaign autopublish, a switch you turn on for a campaign yourself.

Are AI marketing agents safe for my brand?

They are as safe as the rules around them. In Semurai every agent works from your Brand Kit, and specialists cannot publish, schedule, delete or change your store on their own. They are told to report only what their tools returned and never to make up numbers or links.
