Best AI marketing agents in 2026: 10 tools compared by what they actually do
Ten AI marketing agents and platforms, one template for each: what the agent does on its own, where a person approves, which channels it reaches and what it costs. Ranked by the team each one fits, not by an overall score.

Quick answer
If your marketing already lives in a CRM, start with the agents inside it: HubSpot Breeze for HubSpot teams, Salesforce Agentforce for Marketing for enterprises on Salesforce. For on-brand content at scale, look at Jasper; for content that must reach many channels after a team review, StoryChief. To build your own agents, compare Relevance AI, Copy.ai and Lindy. Stores selling through email and SMS: Klaviyo. A weekly content autopilot: Blaze. If you are a small marketing or e-commerce team that wants SEO, content, social and store SEO from one team of AI marketing agents, with publishing waiting for your approval, Semurai is built for that.

How we compared AI marketing agents
We compared every tool on the same seven buyer questions, using public pages checked in October 2026. AI marketing agents plan and carry out marketing work, so the questions focus on what happens without you and what you still have to do yourself. Semurai comes first because it is our product; the other nine follow in order of the team each one fits. Vendors change plans often, so check the linked page before you buy.
- Autonomy and control: what runs on its own, and where a person approves.
- Acts or drafts: whether the agent publishes, sends or changes things, or only prepares drafts.
- Workflows closed: one task (an email, a post) or a whole loop from research to publishing to reporting.
- Price: published or behind a sales call, and whether it is charged per seat, credit, org or usage limit.
- Data foundation: what the agent reads, such as your CRM, store data, keyword data or Search Console.
- Channel coverage: email, SMS, social, blog, ads, store, chat.
- Time to value: a free plan or trial you can start alone, or onboarding fees and annual contracts.
Ad-buying and ad-creative tools such as Albert.ai, Madgicx, Omneky and Smartly also appear on other "best AI marketing agents" lists. We left them out because they focus on paid ads.
Semurai (our product): best for small marketing and e-commerce teams
Semurai is a team of eight AI agents, Semur the lead plus seven specialists, that plans and drafts SEO, content, social and store SEO work and waits for your click before publishing (semur.ai, checked October 2026).
RecordingTranscript
- Semur's plan for the Ember Roast launch waits for your OK
- Approve it, and Keyres starts with the keywords
- Tenko writes the article while Dezaina designs the graphic
- Somi writes 3 posts for Instagram and Facebook
- Scheduling the posts waits for your approval
- Each step shows its result: keywords, article, graphic, posts
- What the agent does on its own: Semur splits a request into up to six assignments and runs up to three specialists at once: Keyres (keywords), Tenko (articles, e-mail drafts, store copy), Hime (Health Score audits), Spynobi (competitors), Rankmaru (rank tracking), Somi (social posts and campaigns) and Dezaina (brand and creative). An optional project autopilot, off by default, runs recurring duties with a veto window and weekly caps; it never publishes.
- Approval: publishing to a site, store or connected channel, scheduling a social publication, applying WordPress changes, sending store proposals and deleting always wait for a person's click. Agent proposals land on one approval card (up to 20 actions) and you choose which run; store descriptions are reviewed separately in the store's To approve tab. The one exception: a campaign where you switch on autopublish yourself, for the WordPress site and social channels you choose.
- Channels and integrations: WordPress plugin, WooCommerce through that plugin, a Shoper app, a PrestaShop module and Google Search Console; Somi drafts and plans posts for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn in the content calendar. App and content in 14 languages.
- Price (checked October 2026, net): Free plan; Starter $39 a month or $29 billed yearly; Growth $99 or $79; Pro $249 or $199. Every paid plan includes all eight agents; paid plans differ in AI usage capacity, seats, tracked keywords and storage. See Semurai pricing.
- Best for: small marketing and e-commerce teams that want one team of agents across SEO, content, social and store SEO, with publishing waiting for your approval.
- Watch out for: Semurai drafts e-mails and ad graphics, so pair it with your e-mail tool and ads manager to send and run them.

HubSpot Breeze: best for teams already on HubSpot
Breeze is the AI layer of HubSpot, a CRM and marketing suite, with agents that work on your CRM data inside HubSpot (Breeze agents, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: the Content Agent will "Build blog posts, social content, and landing pages in your brand voice" (HubSpot AI); the pricing page lists it as "Content Agent (Beta)". Other agents answer support questions, research accounts and draft outreach, and pull insights from your CRM, calls and documents. Agent Builder lets you create custom agents.
- Approval: "Control which actions run on their own." HubSpot describes guardrails you set rather than a separate approval step.
- Channels and integrations: email, social, landing pages, live chat and ads, all inside HubSpot.
- Price (checked October 2026): Marketing Hub Free for up to 2 users; Starter $7 per seat a month as a limited-time price for new customers (regular $20); Professional from $800 a month plus $3,000 onboarding. Agent Hub is on Starter and above (pricing).
- Best for: teams whose contacts, email and reporting already live in HubSpot.
- Watch out for (our assessment): the agents work best on HubSpot data. Custom agents consume HubSpot Credits, and bigger plans add onboarding fees.
Salesforce Agentforce for Marketing: best for enterprises on Salesforce
Agentforce for Marketing is the set of agents inside Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next, led by the Campaign Agent (pricing, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: the Campaign Agent covers agentic content on Growth and agentic campaigns on Advanced; Salesforce says it automates campaign creation, optimization and one-to-one personalization. Agentforce Paid Media Optimization is listed with Marketing Intelligence ($10,000 per org a month), and Salesforce says its analytics and AI "monitor results and adjust automatically to protect ROI".
- Approval: the pricing page does not describe approval gates or human review.
- Channels and integrations: multi-channel journeys, forms and landing pages on Growth; Advanced adds conversational email, RCS, SMS and WhatsApp.
- Price (checked October 2026): Marketing Cloud Next Growth $1,500 per org a month and Advanced $3,250, billed annually; add-ons cost extra.
- Best for: enterprises that already run sales and service on Salesforce and want agents on the same customer data.
- Watch out for (our assessment): annual contracts and org-level pricing put it out of reach for small teams. Ask how review works before agents act on live campaigns.
Jasper: best for content teams that need one brand voice
Jasper is a marketing content platform built around brand governance, with agents for marketing workflows (pricing, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: Pro includes "Agents for core marketing workflows", and the pricing table lists "100+ Purpose-Built Marketing Agents"; the agent library covers SEO and AEO, social posts, email sequences and product descriptions (agents). Business adds agents for GEO, translation and deep research, plus a no-code agent builder. Brand Voices, knowledge assets and audiences shape every draft.
- Approval: on Business, Document Collaboration lets teams "apply status labels to quickly know what's ready for review"; Jasper does not publish for you.
- Channels and integrations: Webflow, Google Docs and Slack through its marketplace, a Chrome and Edge extension, and API, Zapier and Make on Business. "Over 30 languages".
- Price (checked October 2026): Pro $69 per seat a month, or $59 billed yearly; 7-day trial. Business is custom, with a 12-month commitment.
- Best for: content teams that write a lot and need every piece to sound like one brand.
- Watch out for: the page contradicts itself on Pro seats ("Includes 1 seat" against up to 5 users in its metadata), so confirm before you buy. Publishing and scheduling happen in your other tools.
Relevance AI: best for teams that build their own agents
Relevance AI is a no-code platform for building teams of agents, which it calls "The home of the AI Workforce" (relevanceai.com, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: what you build: agents for sales, marketing, support, operations and research.
- Approval: "Human-in-the-loop approvals" are listed, along with role-based access, audit logs and agent tracing.
- Channels and integrations: "Connect to 1,000+ apps", including HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack and Gmail.
- Price (checked October 2026): not published; the pricing page points to sales (pricing).
- Best for: operations-minded teams that want to design their own marketing and sales agents.
- Watch out for (our assessment): you design the workflows yourself. Budget for a demo and a quote.
Copy.ai: best for sales-led teams codifying their go-to-market plays
Copy.ai is now a go-to-market AI platform that combines agents and workflows, "not dozens of copilots and point solutions" (copy.ai, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: runs workflows that turn your processes and plays into repeatable steps: content creation (SEO, thought leadership, social), account-based marketing assets and translation.
- Approval: not mentioned on the homepage.
- Channels and integrations: "2,000+ Integrations", including Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Zapier, Outreach and Salesloft.
- Price (checked October 2026): Chat $29 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly ($288), for 5 seats; Growth $1,000 a month billed yearly ($12,000) with 20,000 workflow credits; no free plan listed (pricing).
- Best for: B2B teams where marketing and sales share one playbook.
- Watch out for: the jump from the Chat plan to workflows is large, so check which plan includes the workflows you need.
Lindy: best for automating the admin around marketing
Lindy is an AI assistant and agent builder that calls itself "the AI employee that plugs into your tools" (lindy.ai, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: drafts, schedules and replies to email, shares meeting notes, and runs routines such as a "Friday marketing report".
- Approval: "Nothing irreversible happens without your approval"; actions that write or send can wait for approval.
- Channels and integrations: Gmail, Slack, Notion and HubSpot "and 1,500+ more", plus MCP servers.
- Price (checked October 2026): $50 of free credits for 7 days, no card; Team from $49.99 a month per active user with 5,000 credits each, pooled across the team (pricing).
- Best for: small teams that lose hours to inbox, meetings and reporting around their marketing.
- Watch out for (our assessment): it is a general assistant, not a marketing suite: it does not bring its own keyword, design or publishing tools. Usage runs on credits.
Klaviyo: best for stores that earn through email and SMS
Klaviyo is an email and SMS platform for e-commerce, with Composer, which it labels an AI marketing agent, and a Customer Agent (klaviyo.com, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: "Composer audits your flows, segments and forms, and creates an entire on-brand campaign" from a prompt. Customer Agent answers shoppers.
- Approval: the pages we read do not say whether messages wait for review before they go out.
- Channels and integrations: email, SMS, RCS, mobile push and WhatsApp in one customer profile; Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Wix and 350+ pre-built integrations.
- Price (checked October 2026): Free plan with up to 250 profiles, 500 emails a month, $5 of mobile messages and $5 of Composer usage; paid prices are not published (you build an estimate) (pricing).
- Best for: online stores, especially on Shopify, where email and SMS drive repeat sales.
- Watch out for (our assessment): it covers owned channels, not SEO or blog content. Without a published price list, estimate costs for your profile count before you grow.
StoryChief: best for content teams publishing to many channels
StoryChief is a content marketing platform for planning, writing, reviewing and publishing in one workflow, with an AI agent that prepares drafts (storychief.io, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: builds briefs from your strategy, brand voice and SEO data, drafts from the brief, suggests content ideas and repurposes approved content into posts and emails. In its words, "AI prepares drafts and recommendations."
- Approval: "Your team edits, approves, and decides what publishes"; formal approval workflows start on Growth ($279 a month billed yearly or $339 monthly, pricing, checked October 2026), and Starter lists content approval as not included.
- Channels and integrations: WordPress, Webflow and Ghost; social networks including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook, with "30+ channels" in total; Mailchimp; Search Console and Semrush data. 35+ publishing languages.
- Price (checked October 2026): Starter $69 a month or $59 billed yearly (€59 or €49), 1 seat, 4 social channels and 25 articles a month; AI image and video add-on $60 (pricing).
- Best for: content teams and agencies that publish to many channels and want one review step for all of them.
- Watch out for: Starter is one seat with four social channels and no approval workflow; teams with more reviewers, more networks or a formal review step need Growth or above.
Blaze: best for owners who want content on a weekly autopilot
Blaze is marketing software for small businesses that plans and creates content on a weekly rhythm, with a done-for-you tier on top (pricing, checked October 2026).

- What the agent does on its own: on day one of the trial it creates a brand identity, a content strategy and the first full week of posts; from day three it autoposts if your accounts are connected. Content types: social posts, email, blog posts and AI video; Starter adds automated ad campaigns.
- Approval: "Review and approve before publishing" is listed as a feature on its homepage, and its pricing page says "You review, approve, and direct every step."
- Channels and integrations: posting accounts (3 on Starter, 10 on Growth) and ads on Google and Meta (blaze.ai); the pages we read do not name the social networks.
- Price (checked October 2026): Starter $79 a month (1 user, 600 generation credits), Growth $149 (unlimited users), All-In-One $999 with a dedicated marketing expert; 7-day trial without a card.
- Best for: owners who want a steady flow of posts without planning each week.
- Watch out for: one brand per workspace, and five or more brands need special pricing. Check how autoposting and review fit together in your setup.
Agent, copilot or automation?
An AI marketing agent takes a goal, plans the steps and carries them out; a copilot answers one prompt at a time; marketing automation repeats a path you designed in advance. Most tools above mix the three, so the useful question is the hand-off: which steps run without you, and which wait for a decision.
Which AI marketing agent should you choose?
Choose by where your marketing already lives and how much you want the agent to do without you.
- Owner or solo marketer: Blaze for a weekly autopilot of posts, Lindy for inbox and reporting, Semurai if you also need SEO and articles.
- Small marketing or e-commerce team: Semurai on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shoper or PrestaShop; Klaviyo for email and SMS on Shopify.
- Content team: Jasper for one brand voice, StoryChief (Growth and up) for one review step before every channel.
- B2B and sales-led teams: HubSpot Breeze on HubSpot, Copy.ai for shared workflows, Relevance AI to build your own agents.
- Enterprise: Salesforce Agentforce for Marketing, HubSpot Enterprise or Jasper Business.

Frequently asked questions
Is there one AI marketing agent for every team?
No. The right AI marketing agent depends on where your marketing lives. HubSpot Breeze and Salesforce Agentforce suit teams on those CRMs, Klaviyo suits stores that sell through email and SMS, and Jasper suits content teams that need one brand voice. Semurai suits small marketing and e-commerce teams that want SEO, content, social and store SEO in one place, with publishing waiting for your approval.
Which AI marketing agents have a free plan or a trial?
HubSpot Marketing Hub, Klaviyo and Semurai have free plans, and Lindy starts with $50 of free credits for 7 days. Jasper and Blaze offer 7-day trials, and StoryChief a trial without a card. Salesforce and Relevance AI sell through their sales teams.
Can AI marketing agents replace a marketing team?
Not fully. Agents take over repetitive work such as drafts, research, reports and scheduling, but someone still has to set the goals, check the output and own the brand. Most teams use agents to do more with the same people.
Which of these AI marketing agents can post on their own?
Blaze can autopost once your accounts are connected, and HubSpot lets you choose which actions run on their own. StoryChief lists approval workflows from its Growth plan, Lindy waits for approval before anything with outside impact, and Semurai waits for a person's click before publishing; the one exception is a campaign where you switch on autopublish yourself, for the WordPress site and social channels you choose.
How do prices compare across these ten agents?
Among these ten, small business tools range from free plans to about $79 a month (entry plans checked in October 2026), while enterprise platforms such as Salesforce start at $1,500 per org a month billed annually. Some vendors, including Relevance AI and Klaviyo for paid tiers, do not publish prices. Most small business tools offer a free plan or a trial.
