Channel intelligence

Ranking is the result. This is the cause.

The useful competitor insight is not the position — it is what they built, promoted and earned links for in the months before they started winning.

Top pages One hub drives 31% of their traffic

Their comparison cluster stacks alternatives, pricing and agency use cases into a single internal-link hub.

Semur drafts the counter-cluster
Backlinks 7 publishers link to two rivals — not you

Backlink intersections show the exact domains already covering your category and open to a pitch.

Paid search Their ad spend reveals real demand

The terms competitors keep paying for are the ones converting. That is a shortlist you can rank for instead.

Paid themes mapped to organic gaps
AI answers They get cited, you get skipped

Track which brands AI answers name for your category prompts, and what those cited pages have in common.

Content signals to close the gap

Every signal here can become a brief, a refresh, a link task or a tracked keyword — reviewed by your team before anything ships.

FAQ

Common questions

What does the analysis actually compare?

Keyword footprint and overlap, estimated organic and paid traffic, average position, country distribution, historical traffic, top pages, backlink intersections, ad themes and AI answer visibility — across every domain that shares your SERPs.

Will it find competitors I don't know about?

Usually, yes. The competitive set is built from shared search results rather than from your industry assumptions, so tool comparison sites, publishers and adjacent products show up whenever they take your clicks.

How is the keyword gap calculated?

Missed means at least one competitor ranks for the keyword and your domain does not appear at all. Shared means you both rank — which is where the position column tells you whether you are defending or losing ground.

Is this only about organic search?

No. Organic is the starting point, but backlinks, paid search themes, top-page structure and AI answer citations are part of the same view, because competitor strategy rarely sits in one channel.

What happens after I pick a gap?

Selected keywords go to Rank Tracker for monitoring or into the SEO Editor as a brief, where the target structure and terms are built from the pages currently ranking for that keyword.

How fresh is the data?

Analyses are refreshed on demand and collection typically completes within a few minutes. You get a notification when a refresh finishes, and historical traffic is kept so you can see trend rather than a single snapshot.

Stop guessing why they outrank you.

Map the real competitive set, take the gaps that are worth taking, and turn the rest into work your team can actually ship.
