How is the Health Score calculated?
Every page starts at 100 and loses a fixed number of points for each issue: the most for server and page errors, then for missing titles, descriptions and H1s, down to small details such as the doctype. The site score is the average of all checked pages: 80 and above is Good, 50 to 79 Needs work, below 50 Poor.
What does the audit check?
21 kinds of issues: server and page errors, redirects, missing, short, long and duplicate titles, missing and duplicate meta descriptions, canonical tags, H1 headings, thin and duplicate content, images without alt text, HTTPS, the doctype, unfriendly URLs, slow server responses and deprecated HTML tags.
Which pages get checked?
Hime starts from your sitemap (or the links on your home page when the sitemap is small), stays on your domain, checks HTML pages only and respects robots.txt. By default an audit covers up to 5,000 pages.
Can Semurai fix the issues for me?
For titles, meta descriptions and image alt texts, yes: the fix plan prepares proposals you can edit or regenerate. With the Semurai WordPress plugin connected, the changes you approve are applied to your site and the pages are checked again. On other platforms you copy the proposals.
Can audits run automatically?
