Create content
Content calendar
The calendar shows everything scheduled in your workspace in one place: blog articles, social posts and emails, with the channel and the status of each. You move items with a drag, see what needs your attention and follow the materials Semurai is preparing.
SomiSocial mediaOpen the calendar
Open Tools → Calendar. The header says Scheduled materials for your domain and offers two buttons:
- New post opens a chat with a prepared request for a post in the days you see. Semurai suggests the channel, the date and the copy, and the post lands in the calendar for your review. It needs the right to edit content.
- Generate content plan opens a chat that asks for a content plan for the days on screen: channels, dates, drafts and outlines to approve. The result is a content plan, not a 7-day campaign. It needs the right to run agents.
People with view-only access see the calendar without these buttons.

Move around
- Today brings you back to the current day, and the arrows next to it page backwards and forwards.
- On the keyboard,
Tgoes to today,[and]page back and forward. The left and right arrow keys do the same when nothing on the page is selected.
Views
| View | What you see |
|---|---|
| 5 days | Five days from today, the default view. Paging moves by five days. |
| Week | The whole week, day by day. |
| Month | The month at a glance. Click a day to open the 5 days view starting on it. |
| List | The items of the period one under another, grouped by day. |

Filters
- Channel: only the channels that have items in the period, each with its count, for example Blog, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X or E-mail.
- Status: Scheduled, To review, Approved outlines, In progress and Published.
- Needs attention: chips that appear when there is something to do: Overdue, Failed publications and To review. Click a chip to show only those items.
- When no item matches, Clear filters shows everything again.

What shows up in the calendar
- Items of campaigns and content plans that have a date.
- Scheduled social posts: posts you scheduled with Schedule post in the post editor, and X posts added with Add to calendar.
- Social post and email documents with a date.
- Articles with a scheduled date. An article shows as published once it has been sent to WordPress or Shoper.
The card
Each card shows the time, the title, the channel, where the item comes from (for example a content plan or a scheduled post) and a status pill such as Scheduled, To approve or Published. While Semurai is working on an item, the card says what is happening, for example Semurai is writing the article. When a plan is being prepared, a bar above the calendar shows Semurai is creating materials with how many are ready, and Open plan takes you to the plan.

A click on a card opens:
- the article in the SEO editor,
- the social post or email in its editor,
- the chat result that waits for your approval to publish,
- the item in its content plan,
- or, for anything else, a new chat about that item.
Reschedule
Drag it to another day
Drag a card to another day. It keeps its time. An item without a time asks you for one first.
Confirm a past time
If the new time has already passed, Semurai asks first (This slot has passed), because the item may be published right away. Choose Move anyway or cancel.
RecordingTranscript
- The calendar shows the week day by day
- Drag a post to another day to move it
- The post keeps its time on the new day
- To change the time, click Reschedule on a card
- Set the new day and time
- Save, and the card moves to its new slot
- Items that are published, being published or cancelled cannot be moved.
- Moving a post whose publication failed puts it back in the queue for the new time.
Publishing
The calendar has no publish button. Scheduled social posts go out on their own at their time, and campaign articles for a connected WordPress site are published at their time too. Everything is approved before it is scheduled.
- If a post fails, its card shows the reason and Try again. A post that cannot reach its account asks you to reconnect the account in the integrations settings.
- When it is unclear whether a failed post went out, Semurai asks you to Check whether the post is already live on the profile first. If it is not, choose It is not live, retry, so nothing appears twice.
